After comparing and testing various concepts, we opted, in consultation with the client, for a combined system of letters, numbers, and colours. In the design of the new signage, all final destinations that a patient/visitor/staff/supplier should be able to reach on their own have been given their own number or letter.
Departments have been given a letter from the alphabet, while all other destinations are given a number. The reference is designed so that at each decision point, the direction is given to each destination on campus.
